PLEASE READ: About Aetna Billing
I am an in-network provider with Aetna. My biller will submit claims to Aetna on your behalf. Although Aetna often tells subscribers that it “covers six free visits” they actually only guarantee coverage of six uses of the individual CPT code S9443. I use other CPT codes for my visits to ensure I am fully compensated for the time I spend at home visits. This means you may still be responsible for copays, deductible, or cost-sharing.

I bill for both parent and baby, since I treat both people during my visits. If your baby is not covered on your Aetna plan, an additional $71.50 will be billed for each visit. This is the rate Aetna reimburses for babies.

I also charge a $85.00 admin fee for initial visits only, which is NOT covered by insurance. There is NO admin fee for follow up visits. Questions about Aetna billing? Feel free to reach me at hello@lactationally.com.
